Important SAT News:

Are you taking the SAT this year? If so, then you need to be aware of some important modifications related to registration and test-day protocol. New security measures have been implemented that are designed to prevent test-taker impersonation. Beginning with the March 9 test date, you will be required to submit a photo when registering for the tests, that will then be made into a photo id which you must bring with you on test day. Another change is that standby (walk-in) testing is no longer permitted. For details on these and other changes, go to collegeboard.org and type "new SAT registration requirements" into the search box.

Semester Schedule Changes

All Students: Here are the instructions for schedule changes at the semester for all students. The priority will be given to students who need to change for academic reasons. If you need a class change for ACADMIC reasons, such as a class level change, then make an appointment to see your counselor during finals week. After seeing your counselor, you will need to return the signed schedule change form before you can start your new class. Forms must be signed by teachers and a parent. The semester ends on Jan. 27th and the new semester will begin on Monday, Jan. 30th. The counseling department hopes to have all academic changes completed during finals week so that students can start their new classes on Monday, Jan. 30. The dates to start academic changes will be: Monday, Jan. 23rd and end on Thursday, Feb. 2nd.  For all other changes, such as elective changes, dates to change will not begin until Monday, Jan. 30th and end on Thursday, Feb. 2nd. Elective changes will only be made if there is space available in the class.  All class changes will need to be completed no later Thursday, Feb. 2nd.
