Freshman Orientation

The Freshman Orientation for the Class of 2018 will be happening on Friday, August 22 from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Plan to attend this fun event!
Place: Damon Gym
Lunch will be served at noon and buses will be provided.
That night, students who attended the orientation will be invited to attend the Freshman Dance, also on Friday, August 22 - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Logan Gym

Schedule Changes

All students: Class changes will only be made for academic reasons or if there is a mistake in your schedule. If you want to try to change your schedule, make an appointment to see your counselor. Your counselor will give you and schedule change form, which will need to be signed and returned before your class can be changed in the computer. Changes will only happen with teacher and parent permission providing there is room in the class you plan to change into. The deadline to change is Friday, August 29.

Start of New Year - Fall 2014

Lots of new changes coming this fall!
Back to School Days:
Thursday and Friday - August 21st & 22nd in the Library   9:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Parents and Students will need to attend, fill out paperwork, pick up schedules, take pictures, etc.

Freshman Parent Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 21st at 7:00 p.m. in the Mary Hanley Theatre
Parents and guardians of incoming students are invited to come meet the FUHS administration, counselors and freshman teachers. Parents will also be able to pick up their student's schedules.

Julie Slater has taken a new position as a counselor for the whole school district and a new counselor, Lori Barnum, will be taking over her senior and sophomore classes.

This year Karla Austin will be the counselor for the freshman and junior classes.

Ashlee Byrd will be the counselor for 504, EL and Special Ed Students

Seniors: The June Update is now posted. No more scholarships, but there is some end of the year news for you.

Reminder: Senior Awards Night is happening this Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. in the Little Theatre. Plan to attend if you received a yellow postcard invitation.

Senior Awards Night - June 4

Seniors: Senior Awards Night will be happening on Wednesday, June 4, from 7 - 9 p.m. in the Mary Hanley Theatre. This is the night we celebrate all of the awards and scholarships that have been won by your class. If you receive a yellow postcard in the mail inviting you to awards night, it means that you have won something and please plan to attend. If for some reason you can't attend, let Mrs. Austin know beforehand. Awards may or may not be monetary in nature. There will be lots of surprise scholarships announced at awards night, so it will be exciting and lots of fun. Plan to bring your family.
