Community Service Hours

Community Service Hours:
If you have a lot of community service hours and are wondering what to do with them, be sure to note them all on your activity sheet or resume. All of the service will look really great when you are applying for scholarships during your senior year. The more service, the more impressive you look. As far as graduation requirements are concerned, however, only the first 15 hours of community service will be recorded on your transcript. So if you have over 15 hours, you won't need to turn in any additional community service forms to the office. Any questions, see your counselor.

New SAT Registration Regulation

If you plan to take the SAT, be aware that new security regulations require a photo upload during the registration process. Although the announcements from College Board have been somewhat conflicting, it is better to err on the side of caution and upload your photo id during the registration process, rather than be turned away on your test date for lack of proper id. For more information about this, go to http://sat.collegeboard.org/register/photo-requirements.
