YCC Summer Jobs for Youths

The Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) is looking for applicants, ages 15 - 18 years of age,  for their 8 week summer job program. Students will be working in Redwood National Park in the Orick area on projects including trail maintenance, removal of exotic plants, and improving wildlife habitats. The job involves hard physical labor and pays a wage of $10 per hour for a 40 hour work week. If you are interested, pick up an application from your counselor. Students will need to provide their own lunch and transportation to the National Park Service's Arcata office. Applicants will be selected on a random basis.
